Microsoft And Amazon billions of dollars are invested in France.
Microsoft said in an announcement on Monday that it’s committing 4 billion euros ($4.3 billion) to expand its cloud and AI infrastructure in France, along with funding AI skills and supporting France's tech industry.
The company plans to bring as much as 25,000 of probably the most advanced GPUs or graphics processors to France by the tip of 2025. By 2027, Microsoft can even train 1 million people and support 2,500 AI startups.

Amazon, meanwhile, has committed to investing 1.2 billion euros in France.
The money will go toward creating greater than 3,000 jobs in France – along with the two,000 recent jobs Amazon has already announced for 2024 – in addition to broadly expanding Amazon's presence within the country, in line with Frederic Duval, Amazon's country manager.

Combined, Microsoft and Amazon's commitments to France amount to $5.6 billion in funding. In total, France is alleged to have collected a record 15 billion euros in investment commitments from foreign corporations at an annual “Choose France” summit on Monday.
