Airbnb wants to present its guests access to worlds they’ve only dreamed of.
The company introduced its Icon category, described as “extraordinary experiences featuring the world’s greatest icons.”
Guests can be welcomed by Kevin Hart, Doja Cat or TikTok sensation Khaby Lame, stay in Prince's “Purple Rain” house or stay on the Musée d'Orsay.
“Icons transport you to worlds that previously existed only in your imagination,” said Brian Chesky, co-founder and CEO of Airbnb, in a press release.
Over the course of the 12 months, Airbnb will release 11 Icon Stays within the US and world wide.
Drifting away within the “Up” house:
In Abiquiu, New Mexico, you’ll be able to sleep in Disney and Pixar's most famous home and explore Carl's world in an in depth recreation – complete with greater than 8,000 balloons. Oh, and it’ll rise into the air, in case you were wondering.
Stay on the Ferrari Museum:
For those with a necessity for speed or a penchant for heavy machinery, the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy, offers a bed produced from the identical leather because the Ferrari seats. They sleep “next to 110 elite trophies and the Ferrari cars that won those trophies.” You can even join Marc Gené, who will take you on a lap across the Pista di Fiorano.
Enter X-Men '97:
In Westchester, New York, you’ll be able to live out your childhood dreams just like the Marvel X-Men for just a few days in a reproduction of Professor Xavier's mansion.

How to book
The entries usually are not all published online directly. To receive your booking, Airbnb operates a lottery process.
Any guest can request to book the placement once it’s online. For example, you’ll be able to request the Up house now until May 14th, but a stay on the Prince's Pad will not be possible until August.
From there, the chosen people receive a “digital golden ticket”. Experiences cost lower than $100 per guest – some are free.
“As life becomes more digital, we are focused on bringing more magic to the real world. “With Icons, we’ve created the world’s most extraordinary experiences,” said Chesky.
