Merchandise valued at $10,000 each was stolen from two Campbell businesses

May sixth

USE, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 6:21 p.m. within the 1300 block of Theresa Avenue. A person and a girl were arguing of their driveway. There was an arrest warrant for the lady and it was determined that she was drunk. The man was in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and was under the influence of a stimulant and an opiate.

BURGLARY: 8 p.m. within the 600 block of West Parr Avenue. Someone broke the sunroof and ransacked a vehicle, but nothing of value was taken.

May seventh

INJURY TO A SENIOR ADULT: 3:30 a.m. within the 200 block of Dillon Avenue. During an argument, a person punched the victim several times within the face, injuring him, and fled on foot. He was positioned downtown and brought into custody after a temporary struggle.

BURGLARY: 1 a.m. within the 300 block of East Campbell Avenue. Someone broke the window of a vehicle and took $380 value of pool cues.

RETAIL THEFT: 1 p.m. within the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue. Two suspects entered a store together and loaded a shopping cart with goods. They got out and returned, attempting to fill one other cart. A suspect was interrupted by employees and fled the shop. Both suspects walked to a parked vehicle and eventually fled the scene. The loss is about $1,000.

FALSE IMPROVEMENT, ASSAULT WITH DEADLY WEAPON: 9:43 a.m. within the 600 block of Beta Court. Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Through interviews with the victim and his relations, it was determined that the suspect strangled the victim, prevented her from leaving, and severely assaulted her.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 6:50 p.m. within the 700 block of Craig Avenue. A person was found to be too drunk to care about his safety.

RETAIL THEFT: 8:25 a.m. in the five hundred block of East Hamilton Avenue. Three suspects entered a store and stole roughly $1,230 value of merchandise.

eighth of May

VEHICLE THEFT: 5:45 p.m. within the 900 block of Camden Avenue. The victim parked his blue 1989 Honda Civic Hatchback at a store and dropped the keys within the mailbox overnight. The vehicle was stolen before the shop opened the next day.

DUI: 9:07 p.m. within the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue. A person was involved in a motorcar accident on a thoroughfare and exhibited signs and symptoms of alcohol poisoning. He was unable to perform the sphere sobriety tests shown and explained.

May ninth

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: within the 1200 block of Lorelei Court. A person was sleeping on the road and had a small bag of methamphetamine in his pocket.

UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 3:32 a.m. at Los Gatos Creek Trail. A person called 911 and reported a false incident. He was found to be under the influence of a stimulant.

Petty theft: 2:57 p.m. within the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue. Someone walked into an open store, grabbed a $500 item, passed through all of the points of sale, and left the shop without paying.

May eleventh

BURGLARY: 7:09 a.m. within the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue. Two suspects gained entry to a closed shop. One stole roughly $10,000 value of merchandise while the opposite waited in a close-by silver 2011 Volvo XC90. They caused roughly $7,000 in damage.

twelfth of May

BURGLARY: 6:54 a.m. within the 300 block of East Campbell Avenue. A girl reported that her store was broken into and roughly $10,000 value of merchandise was stolen.

DUI: 5:20 a.m. at South Bascom Avenue and Mount Davidson Drive. A driver was involved in a collision with two parked vehicles. They were found to be drunk driving and were arrested.

Extortion: 5 p.m. within the 200 block of Hollis Avenue. Someone received $50 from the victim via a Zelle transfer, claimed the victim owed money, and threatened to contact the family if he didn't pay.

May thirteenth

VEHICLE THEFT: 3:15 a.m. at North Second Street and East Latimer Avenue. Someone broke the window of a vehicle to steal the automotive. The vehicle sustained damage to the window and front bumper. The suspects fled in a white pickup truck with a transport truck attached

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 12:11 a.m. at South Bascom and Union avenues. A person was contacted after he exited a vehicle that was stopped in the midst of the road and was behaving erratically.
