Rafael Devers hits his fourth home run in as many games

The Red Sox could also be within the midst of a losing streak, but Rafael Devers isn't letting that cool his bat.

In fact, he has prevailed in 4 straight games, although Boston has lost the last three games. Devers hit his fourth home run in as many games on Saturday.

The left-hander's final long ball was the Red Sox's first hit of the night against St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Miles Mikolas. Devers' 431-foot home run to center field tied the sport at one run apiece within the fourth inning.

Devers swung a 79 mph curveball that landed well below the strike zone, essentially like a golf swing on the sphere like he did already done once in his profession. He hit it several rows deep into the deepest a part of Busch Stadium.

Boston hadn't scored a single hit against Mikolas entering the fourth inning. Mikolas got here into the sport with a 6.19 earned run average and a .311 batting average against him.

Devers' most up-to-date home run was the one hundred and eightieth of his MLB profession. The 27-year-old is 13 home runs away Binding by Jason Varitek for eleventh in Red Sox history.
