Qatar Airways is the “Airline of the Year 2024” in keeping with AirlineRankings.com.
The Doha-based airline is back at the highest after falling to second place behind Air New Zealand in 2023.

In a Article announcing the rankings, Geoffrey Thomas, editor-in-chief of AirlineRankings.com, said: “Qatar Airways came first in many key areas, although the battle for the top ten was very close.”
Qatar Airways also won the “Best Business Class” categoryj for the fifth yr in a row, while Singapore Airlines was awarded “Best First Class” and Air New Zealand was awarded “Best Economy Class”.
The “Best Premium Economy” award went to Emirates, which was also recognized for “Best In-Flight Entertainment.”
For the third yr in a row, Etihad Airways took home the highest award for “greenest airline,” beating all “ME3 airlines” – a term that describes the three dominant airlines within the Middle East: Doha-based Qatar Airways, Dubai-based Emirates and Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways.
