Amber Alert issued for 14-day-old Vallejo boy and his mother

VALLEJO – An Amber Alert was issued Saturday morning for a 14-day-old boy and his mother, who authorities said abducted him Thursday.

Both the boy, Brandon Manning, and his mother, Valerie Manning, 28, were still missing as of Saturday afternoon. They were last seen around 3 a.m. Thursday in Vallejo, police said.

Authorities said Solano County Child Protective Services officials consider the kid is at risk. No further details were released.

Valerie Manning is believed to be driving a black 1991 Isuzu Amigo with the California license plate 2ZRD090.

According to the California Highway Patrol Amber Alert, Brandon Manning is 22 inches tall, weighs 7 kilos, and has brown hair and eyes. His mother is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 175 kilos, and likewise has brown hair and eyes.

The ad also includes pictures of the kid, his mother and the vehicle.
