NEW YORK — Jessica Biel could have seemed unfazed after her husband Justin Timberlake was arrested for drunk driving on Tuesday, but insiders say that couldn't be farther from the reality.
The 42-year-old former seventh Heaven actress is “extremely upset” about her 43-year-old husband's latest misstep, this time within the Hamptons, a source told Us Weekly.
Although Biel was filming Amazon’s “The better sister” The source said she was “shocked to hear the news and had no idea as she was working.”
Much more Emmy nomination “was really worried” concerning the “Selfish” singer, who arrested early Tuesday after he ran a stop sign up Sag Harbor, Long Island, failed several sobriety tests, and refused a breathalyzer test.
Although he reportedly told his wife – with whom he has sons Silas (9) and Phineas (3) – that he “barely drank”, the NSYNC alumnus dropped at court on a single drunken driving charge and released without bail.
Timberlake's lawyer Edward Burke told the Daily News Wednesday that he “will have much to say in due course, but [is] is currently awaiting the full results of the public prosecutor’s office.”
It remains to be unclear whether Timberlake will postpone any of the performances.
At the time of publication, Timberlake remains to be scheduled to perform in Chicago on Friday and Saturday before heading to New York to perform at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday and Wednesday.
