Disneyland has a stark warning to anyone who can't access the sold-out Oogie Boogie Bash event and is eager about paying double, triple or quadruple for tickets from an internet reseller: Buyer beware!
Resellers have listed greater than 600 Oogie Boogie Bash tickets, retailing for between $134 and $189, and as much as $900 on Stubhub, in response to MousePlanet.
“If Disney can identify the sellers of these tickets, they may be revoked,” says MousePlanet.

Tickets sold out in only 11 days for the annual Halloween event takes place on 27 select evenings from August 25 to October 31 at Disney California Adventure.
Disneyland has taken motion against black marketeers Selling tickets for after-hours events with separate admission on eBay – but that doesn’t stop resellers from offering tickets for the favored Halloween event on StubHub.
But buying Oogie Boogie Bash tickets through a reseller will not be idea.
“Disney has demonstrated that they can work with the site to determine the identities of resellers, void their tickets, and, if necessary, revoke their Magic Key passes,” MousePlanet said.
According to Disneyland, tickets for the Oogie Boogie Bash can’t be resold after purchase.
According to Disneyland officials, Disneyland resort teams have a longtime process for investigating resold tickets, which will be voided if essential.
The terms and conditions for ticket sales are clearly set out on the Disneyland website.
- Disneyland tickets are non-transferable and is probably not sold.
- Theme park reservations are void if transferred or sold.
- Disney may cancel tickets at any time and for any reason.
- Disneyland tickets are non-refundable.
According to Disneyland officials, Rich sold Sweethearts' Nite tickets at the next price than face value, violating Disneyland's terms and conditions.
There's still a technique to get to this 12 months's sold-out Oogie Boogie Bash event – especially when you don't mind paying $900 per ticket.
The Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour gives as much as eight people eight hours of access to the event with a guide, plus priority access to Villains Grove, reserved admission to the Frightfully Fun Parade, and food, drinks and exclusive souvenirs—all for $7,500 to $8,500, depending on the date.
The 5-hour after-party starts at 6pm every evening on chosen dates, with the mix-in starting three hours earlier.
