A Blackhawk mansion owned by developer Kenneth Hofmann, who once co-owned the Oakland A's and Seattle Seahawks, is on the market for $7.488 million.
Hofmann originally built the 80,000-square-foot property in 1986; since then, the house has undergone nearly $6 million in upgrades.
These include a personal wing for the main bedroom, a chef's kitchen and a wine cellar. The backyard offers a catering kitchen, a pergola with mounted flat screens, a pool and a spa. There are quite a few panoramic views of the adjoining golf course and hills.
The property was purchased in 1997 by Don Kingsborough, former president of Atari and former head of retail at PayPal. He can be the previous CEO of Worlds of Wonder, where he created the favored talking teddy bear Teddy Ruxpin. He lived in the home until 2000.
