Elon Musk's divorced transgender daughter is hitting back at her “cruel,” “narcissistic” billionaire father to refute various claims he has made about her recently, including his statement that she was dead to him because she was brainwashed by the “woke mind virus” and now believes she just isn’t a boy.
In a series of articles on threads — not her father’s social platform — and in an interview with NBC NewsVivian Jenna Wilson, 20, made a series of heartbreaking claims concerning the powerful technology entrepreneur and father of 12 who says he loves children and sees it as his mission to assist repopulate the Earth.
Wilson, who’s Musk's daughter from his marriage to first wife Justine Wilson, said the Tesla and SpaceX founder was “cold,” “unloving” and “narcissistic” during her childhood. He was also largely absent during much of her childhood. But “in the short time” he was present, she said on Threads, “I was relentlessly bullied for my femininity and queerness.”
In her interview with NBC, Wilson elaborated, saying he pushed her to look more masculine and pushed her to deepen her voice as early as elementary school.
“I was in fourth grade,” Wilson told NBC. “We went on this road trip that I didn't realize was actually just an advertisement for one of the cars – I don't remember which one – and he kept yelling viciously at me because my voice was too high.”
“It was cruel,” she said. NBC said Musk didn’t reply to requests for comment. In some ways, Wilson's allegations against her father are nothing recent. Her mother has also described her ex-husband as difficult, controlling and patriarchal.
The student also hit back at “false” claims Musk made in an X-contribution on Monday, writing that she was “born gay and mildly autistic.” Musk also said, “He was not a girl.” Wilson also criticized Musk for counting on old stereotypes about LGBTQ people to “elicit sympathy” when describing her. In his X-post, Musk said his child, only 4 years old, loved musicals and theater and picked out clothes for him that he called “fabulous.”
“This is all completely made up,” Wilson said. “As if none of this ever happened. I don't even know where he got this from. My best guess is that he went to the Milo Yiannopoulos school of gay stereotypes.”
Wilson also sensibly identified that at 4 years old, she wouldn't use the word “fabulous.” She bluntly suggested that Musk's treatment of her through the years, the indisputable fact that he publicly disparaged her or described her in stereotypes, “says a lot about how he views queer people and children in general.”
In an interview with controversial Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson this week, Wilson questioned Musk's intention to make public his displeasure over the failure of their relationship.
In that interview, Musk didn’t admit that he played a job in his daughter's estrangement. Instead, he made it clear that Wilson was not a lady and that they not had contact. He said the son he once knew was “killed by the woke mind virus” after being tricked into consenting to puberty blockers.
Musk referred to Wilson by her “dead name” and said, “Basically, I lost my son. … My son, Xavier, is dead – killed by the woke mind virus.”
“Sure, Jan,” Wilson said sarcastically on Threads in response to Musk's refusal to just accept her identity. She identified that she is “legally recognized as a woman in the state of California and I don't care about the opinions of those beneath me.”
Wilson is referring to her decision to use to the court for an official name change and to be recognized as a lady when she turned 18. Wilson had also asked in her application to “no longer be related to her father in any way.”
Wilson told NBC that Musk was not “tricked” into giving consent to her gender reassignment surgery. She said he knew what he was doing when he signed his consent after initial hesitation.
On Threads, Wilson also denigrated her father for his alleged leisure and Medical use Ketamine and says he’s in a “ketamine high” and “desperately needs attention and recognition from an army of degenerate, red-pill incels and pick-mes who are quick to give it to him.”
During Musk's Daily Wire interview with Peterson, he explained his anger over transgender rights and gender-affirming care, which he said coincided along with his acceptance of some features of the right-wing agenda — along along with his recent, enthusiastic support for Donald Trump's presidential campaign. Musk told Peterson that his experience along with his daughter sparked his mission to “destroy the woke mind virus.”
Both Musk and Peterson have previously drawn the ire of transgender rights activists for complaining concerning the use of gender-neutral pronouns. Musk first got here under fire from activists in July 2020 when he tweeted that “pronouns suck.” His then-partner, singer Grimes, was outraged, saying, “I can't support hate. Please stop. I know you don't care about this.”
On Thursday, Grimes expressed her support for Wilson, Write on X“I love Vivian and will forever be proud of her.”
The musician has two sons and a daughter with Musk, all of whom have highly unusual, futuristic names. The ex-couple went to court last fall, arguing over custody and co-parenting. At the time, Grimes also published now-deleted social media posts wherein she claimed her ex-boyfriend was controlling and wouldn’t allow her to see one among her children, her son X Æ A-Xii. She said the situation was “completely tearing my family apart.”
