HAYWARD – Three highschool students were involved in a fight on campus, two of them possibly suffering stabbing injuries, police said.
According to an announcement from Hayward police, the fight broke out around 1:20 p.m. Monday at Hayward High within the 1600 block of East Street.

The police said that every one the injured students would survive. They were all boys.
One of them, a 15-year-old, was taken to a hospital by ambulance and treated there. Another 15-year-old was taken to a hospital by a member of the family. Both boys appeared to have knife wounds, police said.
Police said they’ve not yet made any arrests and are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the fight. Police have spoken to the boys involved and witnesses.
“Student safety is and will remain a priority for the Hayward Police Department,” the police statement said. “We will continue to support the Hayward Unified School District as it works to maintain a conducive to learning environment where students and staff feel safe.”
