An apparent assassination attempt against Donald Trump over the weekend was the newest threat to the previous president and can further shake the 2024 election 12 months with unprecedented violence.

On Sunday, a Secret Service agent spotted a rifle lodged within the bushes next to Trump's golf club in Florida, about 400 yards from the previous president, and opened fire. No one was injured and one suspect was arrested.

The apparent assassination attempt got here two months after Trump was shot during a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. And most recently, libertarians in New Hampshire appear to have encouraged Harris' assassination.
