PALO ALTO – A contemporary Palo Alto mansion has been purchased for greater than $10 million by a South Bay family.
A family group operating out of a residence in Sunnyvale paid $14.35 million for the Palo Alto mansion, documents filed Oct. 31 with the Santa Clara County Recorder's Office show.
The just-purchased mansion is situated at 6 Tevis Place in Palo Alto's Crescent Park neighborhood
A subsidiary called Webb's Cross purchased the residence, which totaled 5,400 square feet. The subsidiary is predicated in a property in Sunnyvale owned by Anuradha Garg and Mahesh Garg.
The Mary Jane Elmore Trust sold the property, county records show. The Garg family bought the property in money.
The 6 Tevis Place residence was designed within the Spanish Revival style and features five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.
The home's design was inspired by the Biltmore Hotel in Santa Barbara, the marketing package says.
The property also features a pool house with a complete area of 300 square meters.
The mansion was listed on the market for $15.45 million. This implies that the acquisition price was roughly 7% lower than the offer price.
Compass real estate agents Carol Carnevale, Nicole Aron and James Steele have listed the villa on the market.
