Disneyland will close eight attractions for seasonal renovations after the busy winter holidays because the Anaheim theme parks prepare for its seventieth anniversary celebrations within the spring.
“It's a Small World,” “Haunted Mansion,” “Disneyland Railroad,” “Disneyland Monorail,” “Mark Twain Riverboat,” “Grizzly River Run,” “Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind” and “Fantasmic” will probably be released in January as a part of the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are temporarily closed as a part of the usual renovation plan.
The eight latest attraction closures include Pixie Hollow and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, which were already closed for renovations.
The Mark Twain Riverboat, which sails on the Rivers of America at Disneyland, will probably be closed January 6-10 for a temporary seasonal renovation.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind at DCA Pixar Pier will probably be closed for seasonal renovations from January sixth to twenty third.
The Disneyland Monorail will close on January sixth for a serious renovation that can last until a minimum of mid-February.
The Grizzly River Run at Disney California Adventure will probably be closed from January sixth to March thirteenth for the rapids' annual winter renovation.
The “Fantastic“The nighttime spectacle at Disneyland’s Rivers of America will be dark from January 7th to 9th and from January 12th through at least February 10th.
The Disneyland Railroad will close on January 13th to continue a Retracking project As a result, the Grand Circle Tour was closed in the fall. The Disneyland Railroad is expected to return in time for the 70th anniversary celebrations beginning in the spring.
It's a Small World in Fantasyland will close on January 21st to remove the winter holiday overlay. Small World isn't expected to return until the spring as the cruise undergoes an extensive seasonal renovation.
Fantasyland's Pixie Hollow meet-and-greet area, where visitors shrink to the size of a fairy to visit Tinker Bell, has been closed since September and is not expected to return until mid-February.
The “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” show led to April and just isn’t expected to return until fall 2026 after Disneyland's year-long seventieth anniversary celebration.
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will run by itself throughout the latest animatronic show's May 16 premiere, then alternate with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” at Disneyland's Main Street Opera House.
