Kenny Chesney is the most recent megawatt music star to sign with the Sphere in Las Vegas.
The multi-platinum artist will perform a 12-night residency on the acclaimed venue Sphere starting in May.
Chesney will probably be the primary country artist to perform concert events within the high-tech Sphere space.
The other Sphere bookings were classic rock bands – U2, Dead & Company and Eagles – in addition to Phish, the extremely versatile (and great) group that actually belongs in a category all its own.
“When we started talking about all the possibilities of playing Sphere, I was all in,” Chesney said in a press release. “The very idea of 4D technology and the incredibly tuned sound elevates the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, images, sound and togetherness. This will be a whole new way for me to rock the fans and I can’t wait.”
