What is TGL?

Who is an element of the TGL teams?
Woods and McIlroy lead the list of PGA Tour players on the TGL roster, but neither will appear in the primary game, which shall be played between New York Golf Club and Bay Golf Club. Opening night is New York vs. The Bay, with Fitzpatrick, Fowler and Schauffele playing for the previous and Åberg, Clark and Lowry playing for the latter. Lowry has already indicated that it’s his first tee shot.

What is TGL format and TGL rules?
In each game, three players from each team of 4 compete against one another. Games last two hours and players play 15 holes.
In the primary nine-hole session, players compete in “Triples,” a 3-on-3 interplay. Each team takes turns playing until they complete the outlet, and the bottom rating wins. No points are awarded for a tied hole, identical to in traditional match play.
In the second session, head-to-head play begins with “Singles.” One player competes against one other player on the primary hole, then the second group of players compete, then the third group. This cycle repeats again for your complete six-hole “singles” portion.

How long does the TGL season last?
The TGL runs from January to March, with the regular season ending on March 4th. Depending on the week and conflicting broadcast schedules, the games are only broadcast on Monday and Tuesday evenings. The top 4 teams after the regular season advance to a four-week playoff season with games on March 17-18. and 24-25. March.
