Everything he wanted was an image.
When Pawel Kidoń visited his first Harlem Globetrotter game in Poland in 2019, the ticket that was a present for his twenty first birthday was just a photograph before leaving the Tauron Arena Kraków with one in every of the players who were ready, to present your time. “How, I can stand on one hand and do something with my other hand with the ball,” said Kidoń, a former freestyle basketball champion from Worldle.
Kidoń's girlfriend recorded the moment on video, which ultimately became viral. The latter led to the globetrotter made a choice that might change Kidoń's life – and would also pave the way in which for history.
Kidoń, once only a Globetrotter fan, is now the primary player within the franchise story that comes from Poland. He learned to play basketball alone while he lived within the small village of Zubrzyca Dolna, during which lower than 2,000 people on the southern end of Poland happen from Slovakia. In a way, Kidoń is a homemade product. He fell in love with basketball for the primary time in 2013 after seeing unbelievers YouTube highlights of the Globetrotters. Before Kidoń arrived red, white and blue, he had never played in an organized basketball team, learned under a trainer and even played an actual game with five against five.

For Kidoń, accession to the globurers meant more than adapting to a new passion. He got used to a new team, a new language, a new culture and the demography of people. Kidoń is the first person from his family to fly to the United States, let alone learn to build a life so far from home.
He still remembers his first day at The Globetrotter, who contained media tasks with newspapers, TV networks and radio stations that were excited to meet him. This made waves back in Poland because the globetrotters do not allow everyone to try them out for their squad. When he was officially a member, Kidoń became his nickname “Kid” to his current nickname.
And “Dazzle” was dazzling.
“When I heard someone who hopped the ball, I knew he was dazzling,” said Dunbar. “He works out there every day and competes with these boys and plays one to one every day. He tries to get to her level. “

Much of what the Globetrotter do is entertaining, but the basics of the team basketball to work. In his adaptation time with the team, Kidoń grew as a player and showman, and he was able to become a WoW factor on the square. Kidoń was a shy child who annoys itself over English and improved his use of language by using duolingo language lessons and rap music during travel to new cities. Kidoń admitted not to be a big fan of traveling before he became a globetrotter, but it started to change when he started to tour the United States, Africa and Asia. The adaptation to American life led him to a stable basketball experience, new food and music that helped him feel comfortable in a new culture.
Kidoń is a big fan of NBA star Steph Curry. He is also a big fan of hip-hop and Super Bowl half-time show headliner Kendrick Lamar. His kitchen decisions vary from steak to chicken wings to Hamburgers.
And his freestyle skills are greeted. They are more and more fun when he has someone to practice.
The Globetrotter Way has grown on Kidoń. He has the mission of the franchise to return the community back to Poland. He now holds basketball camps and shows in his home country without spending a dime.
For every part Kidoń has concerning the appearance of Globetrotter, he still has a modest basketball bucket list that accommodates his wish to satisfy curry. He remembers that he had seen the four-time NBA champion in 2016 when Curry became the primary unanimous MVP within the history of the league. Kidoń described this version of Curry as “insecure”, which is a high praise of a hooper who’s so extensive, which is acquainted with what some consider to be the apparently inconceivable consideration.

But Kidoń has received multiple picture when he took part in his first Globetrotter game. He went from life in a small village and an amusement park to probably the most famous basketball franchise firms on the planet.
“(I want to show children that it is important to have goals in their lives,” said Kidoń. “It is important to find something you like to do and just do it because everyone has a talent. It is important , some hobbies, some passions to find and just do something because they never know how far they can go with their passion.
“I made it into the Harlem Globetrotter's team and lived in a small village with fewer than 2,000 people. If I did it and it was possible for me, why is that not possible for you either? “
