San Jose – The defender of Carolina Hurricanes, Brent Burns, said his positive experiences with the Jr. Sharks made it easy for him, the youth hockey program almost seven years ago Dr. Rick Celebrini beneficial.
When Burns had a productive profession with the sharks within the last decade, had His son Jagger, skaned with the Jr. Haie on different levels.

“There were many different reasons for his family so that it works, the distance and everything that was nearby here,” said Burns on Thursday within the SAP Center before the hurricanes played the sharks. “My child was pretty young, so it changed a lot since I was here. It's fun to see these children. I saw how they now play in a few different states and got into them.
“Everything in the realm and the organization is great. It is fun to return back and see all faces, and it was a special group, only many great people nearby.”
“It was essential (Macklin) to be challenged,” Rick Celebrini told the Associated Press last year of the Jr. Sharks. “It was group.”
Burns's recommendation helped the Celebrinis to end their decision, but maybe there may be no alternative. Before he spoke to Burns, Rick Celebrini also looked at a job with the San Antonio SpursBut that didn't take.
“We visited San Antonio,” said Rick Celebrini. “There isn’t any real youth hockey.”
The cube was occupied, and in the 2019-2020 season Macklin Celebrini had 101 points, including 54 goals, in 61 games for the 14u aaa Jr. Sharks, and Aiden, a defender with a right-wing-beautiful, in 56 games for the 15U AAA Jr. Sharks had 20 points in 56 games. Aiden also had 22 points in nine games for Willow Glen High School.
Rick Celebrini is now the Vice President of the Warriors, who is responsible for the health and performance of players. Macklin, which was first selected at the 2024 NHL design, joined Burns and the Hurricanes on Thursday as the leading goal scorer of the Sharks with 50 points in 56 games.
Calder talk: Hurricanes and coach Rod Brind'amour raved about 18-year-old Celebrini, who is one of the leading candidates to win the Calder Trophy as a top rookie of the NHL this season.
When the sharks played the Hurricanes on December 10th in Raleigh, Celebrini had an giveaway that led to Carolina's gaming goal, but also had an assistant and all led San Jose with 22:39 in the ice age. He was also attributed to three hits while he won eight out of 14 Faceoffs.
Brind'amour asked for Celebrini and said he usually doesn't watch the sharks play on the west coast.
“There are certain players within the league, and the teams have, they usually know who they’re, but (Celebrini) should be put into the conversation through which he gets the puck, something good will occur or have the potential. If you may have 20 minutes an evening or whatever, you already know that this can be a special player.”
Other strong candidates for the Calder Trophy This year are Montreal Canadiens Defenson Lane Hutson, Calgary Flames goalkeeper Dustin Wolf, born Gilroy and Flyers Fly Matvei Michkov.
In 67 games, Hutson competed with 53 points on Thursday and led 47 points in the ice age with 53 points and Michkov. Wolf was one main reason why the flames, the team of the lowest score in the NHL, were still in a playoff hunt because he saved a 22-14-5 record and a percentage of 0.912 in 41 games.

“I don't take a have a look at (the Calder race), but I’m sure (Celebrini) probably leads the pack. Rightly so,” said Hurricane striker Seth Jarvis. “He had a extremely good yr.”
