Stanford won five of his last six games of the regular season and was 14: 3 at home, but 2-11 on the road and at neutral locations, including 2: 7 within the eastern time zone, where a lot of the ACC street games were played.

In the meantime, Clemson (14-16) had only won three of the last 14 games within the tournament after having hit home at home in January.

Nunu Agarara, the leading goal scorer and rebounder of the cardinal, has returned to emergency lady after only six minutes, since an injury was suffered against emergency lady. She scored eight points in 17 minutes. Stanford's 46 points were only a few that it achieved this season, since only seven templates and 13 sales were recorded.

“I thought we only had to fight aggressively, and that made us become tight and maybe press a little at both ends of the floor,” Paye told reporters Postgame. “I thought I thought (our players), but we didn't move the ball as I feel like I have moved the ball in the past few weeks. We have tried many different combinations of people. It was just not our day. “

Paye said that if the cardinal doesn’t produce the NCAAs, they might consider collaborating in one other tournament like NIT.

“We won't let this one game define ourselves or who we are,” she said. “We hope that we can continue to play and we are grateful for the opportunity to be here today.”

Clemson's Loyal McQueen scored 17 points, Mia Moore had 14 with 4 3s, and Anya Poole added 12 for the Tigers, who shot 44% and made 8 out of 17 3-converter. Stanford made only three attempts at eleven.

Stanford led 6-0 before McQueen scored nine points for a lead of 11: 10 in the primary quarter. Anya Poole had eight points within the second quarter when the Tigers Stanford exceeded 16: 6 to run 27-16 at half-time. The cardinal only shot 23% and had 10 sales.

After a primary half, when no team made a 3 pointer, Clemson scored Five and Stanford Drei within the third quarter, with the Tigers expanding an 11-point half-time result in 18. The cardinal had cut the lead over seven, then Clemson scored 4 directly from the arch, including Moore's second and third and third quarter.

Clemson led as much as 20 within the fourth quarter.

The Tigers will compete with six seeds within the second round on Thursday against Louisville, while Stanford will wait for a possible post-season tournament invitation.

“We are a very young team,” said Ogden Postgame. “Although we were unable to show the trust for which we worked here, we can bring this into all the games we have left and also into the future.”
