Down: Sandy Eger in Martinez in Martinez spent every week in Lake Clark, Alaska. It stayed within the Silver Salmon Creek Lodge, about 100 miles southeast of Anchorage on the Cook Inlet. “It is very remote and only with the boat or a small plane that ends up on the beach,” says Eger. “Experienced guides take their feet from the bears while they slammed or play in streams. It is not exclusively for photographers. Some people are there for adventure and take pictures with their telephones. It's pretty amazing!”
Travel suggestions: “The weather is always unpredictable, but rain can occur frequently. Bring rain equipment for your camera and yourself. Waterproof knee -high boots are required to follow the bear during the bracket. We were not disturbed by mosquitoes, but some people brought head nets in cases.”

VIETNAM: Kelly Mason from San Rafael traveled Solo and joined a small group with adventure trips in overseas. Mason made a rickshaw ride through Hanoi. “The Vietnamese people were so inviting and friendly,” says Mason. “The food was excellent and the travel company was the first interest rate. From busy, eclectic hanoi in the north to civilized Saigon in the south, the state of California in geography, coastal cities, lush agriculture in the mountains and flowering cities seem to be very similar.”
Travel suggestions: “The old city of Hội and is a must to see the silk and to make a tailor -made dress or suit for you within 24 hours. The beach is beautiful and we even swam in the warm Pacific.”
