Gary Payton II, who missed the last three games with a partial tear within the left thumb, took part within the shootaround of the team on the UCLA on Thursday morning.
He was excluded from the team's game against the Lakers, however the team announced that he could be listed as day by day in the long run.

“Draymond and Jimmy are incredibly high IQ players, and the two work together, it is beautiful to see,” said Kerr. “They read each other. We could be in a scheme to which we do not reach for some reason, and it will not be in phase. They just react to what is in front of them immediately.”
Thursday begins with three consecutive games against teams which can be higher than golden state.
After the Warriors ended with the six-game road trip in Los Angeles, they are going to play a brief flight to the Bay Area against Denver within the Bay on Friday.

“It feels like a playoff game,” said Kerr. “With this game situation, there are eight teams that would have been clear under the old format, and it would only be about making seeds. We are all desperate to avoid this game, and so it has created a race.”
