Highlights of the primary day of the Olympic Games in Paris

Olympic athletes in Paris dried off after the soaked but celebratory opening ceremony on Friday evening and set to work on Saturday.

China won the primary gold medal of the Games when Huang Yuting and Sheng Lihao defeated South Korea's Keum Jihyeon and Park Hajun in the ultimate of the 10m air rifle mixed team event.

Thirteen gold medals have been awarded and lots of more will follow.
