SANTA CLARA – The 49ers will play their first preseason game Saturday night on the road against the Tennessee Titans, one month before the beginning of the 2024 regular season.

10 August:
The 49ers have their first dress rehearsal against an opposing team. Jordan Mason will likely play near his hometown of Gallatin, Tennessee, with Christian McCaffrey and Elijah Mitchell out with injuries. Brock Purdy leads the starting offense within the preseason for the primary time in his profession, due to rehab from an elbow injury last 12 months.
15-16 August:
