Maybe Melania Trump was the one holding the camera.
That's one method to explain the absence of Donald Trump's wife from a wierd latest Trump family photo on election night. posted on X by Donald Trump Jr.'s daughter Kai.
But if Melania Trump is missing from the celebratory group photo, which Kai Trump captioned “The Whole Crew,” there may be a brand new addition to the family presentation: Elon Musk.
There's loads to be said on this family photo, through which the world's richest man is featured prominently alongside the president-elect's offspring, in addition to their partners and kids. Musk stands next to Lara Trump, in front of Eric Trump and to the left of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. The X owner, who has reportedly pumped around $130 million into Trump's campaign, can also be holding one in all his 11 children, his beloved four-year-old son
“All his leaps have paid off” said the Daily Beast about Musk's inclusion within the Trump family photo, nearly a month after the billionaire Space X founder literally jumped up and down on stage at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
In the photo, the patriarch himself is definitely standing off center, next to his son Barron Trump, 17-year-old Kai, and 4 of his other grandchildren.
Melania Trump's absence from this photo is certain to fuel discussion in some corners of social media in regards to the state of the Trump marriage and her possible plans to be only part-time first lady during her husband's second term. On the opposite hand, the previous model made a rare appearance throughout the 2024 election cycle to affix her husband on stage at his election night victory announcement on the West Palm Beach Convention Center.
But also missing from this photo: Trump Jr.'s fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle. However, she and Trump Jr. were the topic of reports within the normally Trump-friendly Daily Mail that claimed he had an “affair” with a Palm Beach socialite NewsNation recently reported that the connection between him and Guilfoyle is “going well.” It's also possible that Guilfoyle skipped this group photo in favor of Trump Jr.'s ex-wife Vanessa standing by Kai and their other children. Guilfoyle also appeared on stage with Trump Jr. on the convention center.
Meanwhile, Musk smiles as he stands next to members of the Trump family, whose “troops” photo references various constellations of the Trump family over time. Musk definitely has loads to laugh about, because the day by day beast and other publications identified. His investment in Trump's candidacy paid off: His own Tesla shares rose 15% after election night, increasing his wealth by around $15 billion. Musk could also sit up for an influential role within the Trump administration, as a so-called “cost-cutting secretary,” as Trump himself put it.
But with the Trumps, Musk can also have found a way of family that, in some ways, eluded him.
Like his presidential friend, Musk was married greater than once and had children by three different women. In Musk's case, he has 11 children. But he’s currently in a custody battle with one in all those moms, Claire Boucher, aka the musician Grimes. She is the mother of X-AE-A12 and two other children. Musk also experienced relationship drama with Grimes when she subsequently learned that he had donated sperm to a different mother of his children, Neuralink CEO Shivon Zilis, The New York Times reported.
Wilson responded to Threads that her father was “not a family man” but “a serial adulterer.” In threads on Wednesday, Wilson also announced that she could be leaving the United States following Trump's victory. the Daily Beast reported. She is anxious in regards to the hostility toward transgender people who she believes her father, in addition to Trump and his MAGA supporters, express.
“I don’t see my future in the United States,” Wilson announced. “Even if he only serves four years, even if anti-trans regulations magically don’t come into effect, the people who willingly voted for them aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.”
Wilson's denunciation of her father's latest presidential friend comes as her father is reportedly constructing an “unusual family estate” in an upscale neighborhood in Austin, Texas. The New York Times reported last month that Musk reportedly hoped that at some point all 11 of his children and their moms could live there, or not less than visit.
According to the New York Times, the property appears to reflect Musk's pronatalist ambitions. Pronatalists, from each the Christian right and Silicon Valley, imagine that folks must have as many children as possible, although they disagree about find out how to reproduce.
Musk forgoes traditional marriage and has reportedly offered to donate his sperm to varied women for IVF purposes. Musk desires to proceed fathering children and contributing to world population growth, and he wants to provide his offspring space to live together and take part in one another's lives.
Unfortunately for Musk, not everyone agrees along with his plans. In the months leading as much as Tuesday's election, Wilson publicly criticized her father for his pronatalist “birth rate” stuff. Wilson said she wouldn't touch that “weird…breeder (expletive) with a 10-foot pole.” Grimes has also moved from Austin and is avoiding the world during their custody battle.
