Thousands of festivalgoers, some who got here from so far as Utah and Texas, gathered on the Napa Valley Expo for the inaugural La Onda Latin music festival on Saturday.
La Onda festival, from the organizers of BottleRock Napa Valley, is the long overdue first-ever biggest Latin music festival in Northern California. International Latin artists corresponding to Alejandro Fernandez, Danna Paola, Los Angeles Azules, Farruko, La Arrolladora, Junior H, Gera MX, Eden Muñoz, and plenty of others delighted fans with Latin pop, rap, corridos tumbados, cumbia, rancheras and more during Day One of two days of family entertainment on a sunny day.
Fans also cheered for the colourful masked Mexican wrestlers through the lucha libre matches between music performances. Some fans opted for the silent disco with tunes played by different DJs. The second and last day of the festival continues Sunday with headliners Fuerza Regida, and Mana, who performed last week during BottleRock Napa Valley. For more information, check La Onda website.
